Our Easy Drop Biscuits Recipe Uses Simple Ingredients
Our recipe calls for just a handful of easy, on-hand ingredients. These include butter, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and 1% milk. On the other hand, if you’re looking for something dairy-free, we’ve got you! You can easily make this recipe vegan by subbing in vegan butter for regular butter, and soy milk or coconut milk for 1% milk.
Additionally, for added nutrition, use whole-wheat flour instead of your usual all purpose white. White flour loses nutrition and fiber during processing. Alternatively, whole-wheat flour retains higher amounts of fiber, iron, calcium and protein. Best of all, both taste great when used in pastry recipes!
