This weekend, ferry and F train service is completely eliminated as the Army Corps of Engineers begins clearing the lake by the restored Prospect Park Slope dock. The ferry and F train service are going to be suspended from 6:00 AM Saturday, April 21, until 6:00 AM Sunday, April 22. There will be a five-day heavy volume of work. At the back of the schedule is a reminder of service that has already been cancelled. Since the F train is so underutilized in the evening, service will be cancelled between 12:00 AM and 2:00 AM and between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. The Roger’s Point shuttle bus route also ended on Friday at the end of the service hours and the Roger’s Point bus will again be out of service after 7:00 PM on Friday. Full bus schedules can be found at http://nycgo.com/transit/. Entrances to the Roger’s Point station, located at Avenue U, will remain open until 7:00 PM on Friday.
